Pazopanib

An orally active multitarget tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma and certain advanced soft tissue sarcomas following prior chemotherapy. Pazopanib inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, and VEGFR-3), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR-α and PDGFR-β), and c-KIT, suppressing tumor angiogenesis and growth. It is administered clinically as pazopanib hydrochloride. Important adverse effects include hepatotoxicity, hypertension, diarrhea, and cardiac dysfunction
